Download and Installation

Requirements

The toolbox requires Matlab/Simulink (current release only tested with version 2010a).

Download

The toolbox is available in zipped format here (V0.8).

Install

For easiest use of the toolbox make sure you have write permissions to the Matlab path-file. Else you have to redo the install every time you start Matlab.

1. Unzip the software to a suitable location

2. Run install.m

3. Open the Simulink Library browser and there should be a new SimWindFarm item

Wind Data Packages

The wind data has been seperated from the main toolbox as the simulator package grows exeedingly large.

Old Wind Generation (Taylor’s Frozen Turbulence Assumed)

• Mean wind speed: 15.00 [m/s]

• Grid size: 15 [m]

• Field Length: 2000 [m]
