Quick Examples

A few quick steps to get started

1. Install the toolbox

2. Open benchmark.mdl (old wind generation) or benchmark_new.mdl (new wind generation)

3. Adjust simulation parameters (e.g. simulation time)

4. Run the simulink model

If you want to generate a new wind farm

1. Install the toolbox

2. Open the simulink library browser

3. Find the SimWindFarm library

4. Double click the Farm Template - Taylor simulink block or the Farm Template - No Taylor simulink block depending on wind generation preference

5. Follow the instructions

If you want to generate a new wind field

1. Install the toolbox

2. Open the simulink library browser

3. Find the SimWindFarm library

4. Open the Wind sublibrary

5. Double click the Generate Wind Field - Taylor simulink block or Generate Wind Field - No Taylor simulink block depending on wind generation preference

6. Follow the instructions
